Nalco Sales Meeting Lisbon
venuesportugal.com™ created and managed a fantastic programme for the Nalco Sales Meeting in March 2012. Penha Longa in Sintra never fails to impress and the Nalco team were not disappointed (see feedback below). A busy conference schedule & trade show was intermixed with Sales themed team-building activities in Lisbon City, followed by dinner at the spectacular Restaurant Adega do Kais, housed in a late XIX century warehouse by the riverside, which was used to generate energy for Portuguese trams.
The gala dinner was hosted at the hotel taking advantage of the beautiful gardens for a relaxing welcome cocktail. A traditional Fado singer provided a taste of Portuguese culture and supported the much anticipated awards ceremony.
Our client had this to say……..
‘Nalco’s meeting was a resounding success! I wanted to personally thank you for all of the time and effort that you put into planning and coordinating our meeting. You truly have a top notch organization and I look forward to once again utilizing your services in the very near future. THANK YOU!’
TC, Downstream Marketing Manager, Europe/Russia/Africa, Nalco Energy Services Division
‘I want to echo Tom’s comments. I was sceptical when we first hired your team to manage our meeting as we have never done that before. I must admit it was a great decision to work with your team. Logistics on site were flawless. The flexibility and support when I asked for changes along the way were professionally and quickly handled. The audio visual team was by far the best team I have ever worked with. The Fado singer was fabulous and certainly added a bit of a Wow effect for our recognition dinner. The combination of your team and a first rate location made for a very special meeting. Thank you.’

Why Choose Lisbon?
Not far from the capital lies the town of Sintra, a Unesco World Heritage Site, and previous royal residence. The Atlantic coast around Lisbon is of surprising beauty: here the landscape swiftly changes from high, sweeping cliffs to beaches of white sand, backed by lagoons, and frequented by hundreds of windsurfers. Not far away, at Cabo da Roca, lies Europe’s westernmost point. Back in the Lisbon area, many other places stand as witness to Portugal’s rich historical and cultural traditions.
