About Norway

Norway has 4,5 million inhabitants populating only 5% of the country, the rest is untouched and endless, pure nature with enormous contrasts and natural powers, varying unbelievably from the South to the North. The country is over 2700 km long and on some parts just over 100 km wide. In the North we have the Midnight sun in the summer and the spectacular Northern Lights in the winter, displaying a cosmic concert in the skies. Here we have the “tundra”, the home of the Sámi people and the northern part is scarcely populated.

The South is totally different, an archipelago of smooth, glacier-formed rocks, often forming whole islands. There are many idyllic bays with beautiful wooden houses on the waterfront.

Very different from the North, everything here feels softer and smoother including the weather. The south coast has the mildest weather in Norway and is THE vacation spot for Norwegians living around Oslo.
