Thoratec Symposium 2010 UK - Prague, Czech Republic May 2010 Nº of pax: 200 Thoratec Europe called on venuesworld.com™ to organise their inaugural European Symposium. Bringing this event to Europe from the US for the first time was a huge undertaking for the team at Thoratec Europe, made all the more challenging by a short 5 month lead time. The venuesworld.com™ team quickly identified suitable venues across Europe and Thoratec selected to hold the event at the InterContinental in Prague. Once the conference destination was confirmed work began to find a stunning Gala Dinner venue, something to be remembered. St. Agnes Convent exceeded expectations. 2 days out, with everything in place and ready to go, the volcanic ash cloud decended, the emergency plan was launched and everybody arrived in Prague.
